I can't help it; I'm a proofreader (and English major) from way back. This headline: An Uprising Lead by Cullen should be "An Uprising Led by Cullen". As a noun, "L-e-a-d" (rhymes with bed) is the mineral, often commonly used in the saying, "Get the lead out." As a verb "L-e-a-d" (rhymes with reed) means to have the ability to get others to follow a person, cause, or event, as in "to lead the Israelites into the promised lend". The past tense of this word is "L-e-d". People get it wrong all the time, but it bugs me every time I encounter it.
