I am Linda Kennedy from New Hampton, Iowa. I am a recent subscriber to the Iowa Writer’s Collaborative. I met Julie Gammack when my husband was in the Iowa Legislature in the 70’s. She brought a puppy to New Hampton as a baby gift for our one and only child, Cara Kennedy Ode about 50 years ago. I love to write and recently published my memoir, entitled Someday I Will. I am an avid Democrat and have enjoyed Julie’s emails and reading about people like me across Iowa.
Yes. You gifted us with Katy and he was ours for 16 years. We all fell apart when he died! A belated thank you if I didn’t thank you enough when you brought her to us!
